We have a winner! And some bragging

According to the Random Number Generator.... comment number 9 was the winner of my latest blog post giveaway. Number 9's comment belongs to none other than the wonderfully talented and super cool Dani! of Ambitions Designs!!!! :-) . Dani and I just completed a fun swap, and on Thursday I will be posting the picture of the fabulous Halloween Angel she created for me in exchange for this lil' Liberty Lady....

Okay now, here's the bragging.... My lovely, amazing 12 year old daughter won the Health and Safety Poster Contest for her entire elementary/middle school!!! I have to show you how awesome her drawings are....

I love how she captured the expression of joy of the little girl jumping on the trampoline. The picture of the mom and daughter in the far right corner is of me and her on our evening ritual, walking our dog and yammering away. Very accurate stuff! And so much detail in this! Down to the grate on the sidewalk and the skateboard on the roller-blader's shirt! (can you tell that I am a proud mama :-) ? )She did this 100% completely on her own. I was blown away when I first saw it! So what do you think? Do we have a future "Etsian" in our midst?
