Wow! It's been 15 years! I can't believe it!
Today, hubby and I are taking the day off to celebrate our anniversary. We are leaving early this morning and will spend the day thrifting, antiquing, book store loafing and lunching in some of our favorite Arizona cities, Prescott and Jerome. To culminate our adventures, we will be dining in the very lovely A Cottage Place restaurant in downtown Flagstaff . I am taking lots of pics of these beautiful towns this time, maybe even one of us that isn't quite as old as these below (newest one in here is at least 4 years old!).....
Us back in the dating days! This was right before he graduated from the Marine Corps Boot Camp.
Right after we were in engaged...

Our wedding day! We got married in my Aunt's backyard. the judge standing to Rocky's left officiated. My drop waist flapper-style dress and my jewelry was from an antique shop. The vale was from a second hand wedding boutique . (You can imagine where my husband picked up his dress blues :-) ) I am a sucker for a man in uniform!!! Being only 19 and 21 years old on the day (and broke) we still managed to seat, feed and celebrate with almost a hundred wedding guests for around $1500 ! That's one thrifty wedding :-)

A few years later.. (after kids and dogs and mortgages!)

I love looking at people's photos! What a sweet life you have!
My hubby was a Marine, too, although they never stop being one in their hearts. I never got to see him in uniform because he was at the end of his tour. I've only seen photos and he was looking good! The Marines brought him to CA.
Thanks for sharing!
