Here we go!!!!

So, inspired by the wonderfully talented Jenny at Everyday is a Holiday..I have decided to get aboard the blogging train. I'd love to post every few days, and have a blog that looks almost as good as some of the gorgeous ones I have been lurking at for the past month or two.

For this first post I think I'll share a picture of one of my true loves... my home. A drafty old, paint peeling, creaky blue Victorian in a mountain village town. Whew! That sounds wayyyyy more romantic than it really is ;-)!

Oh and that SNOW! Having lived in New England, I understand that snow looks far more romantic than it truly is, too. But doesn't it make your dreamy little home seem so picturesque!?

Oh, my dear! I have just looked at your site and I must say that I am head over heels in love with your creations. If my husband hadn't just put a moratorium on spending (boohoo!!) I'd be ordering right now! Soon, though. I think I plan onputting some of those cutie pie carrots in my kids' easter baskets.

I came over from Jenny's site to say hello, and welcome! Your house looks so dreamy in the snow (it's warm and rainy here in VA, yuck). Our house is an old relic too, isn't it fun when the plaster cracks, the paint peels and the pipes burst? (Wouldn't have it any other way though, eh?!) I'll be checking in to see what you're up to! Nice meeting you!

Whoops! Tried to respond to every comment and I couldn't figure out how to do it after they were published... so... thanks again to everyone that took time to welcome me. Danielle, Mabelle, Maryann, Christine, Jill, Maija, Artsymama, Little Lovelies, Shabby in the City, Amanda Bel, Deborah, Deb, Daisy Cottage, Missy, Rosemary and Jenny... thank you so so much for your sweet compliments on the house and my work and for your welcome! It really made my week!
Maija, I live in Northern Arizona, not to far from Flagstaff, but I grew up in Phoenix... I don't miss the heat, but I do miss desert sunsets! Shabby in the City, come in anytime! In fact, I wish I could have you all over for tea and homemade scones! Amanda Bel, old houses are a love hate relationship, aren't they! But we wouldn't have them any other way! Missy, thanks for tagging me! I'll work on that for my next post!
